Chris's Publications

As a child, Chris became fascinated by the imagery of playing cards. He discovered the Tarot at the age of thirteen and it became a natural extension of his original fascination. The symbolism of the Tarot is one of the cornerstone inspirations for Chris’s work as it contains a wealth of ideas from a wide range of cultures and spiritual traditions. 

Modern tarot is a framework through which artists can express a variety of philosophies. In this spirit, Chris collaborated with writer Kay Stopforth to illustrate her concept for the Quantum Tarot; a deck where stellar photography, cutting edge astrophysics and ancient beliefs meet as one. The deck has been published in two editions, firstly by Kunati Books in 2008 and latterly by Lo Scarabeo in 2010 as Quantum Tarot 2.0.

Chris has also worked on The Son Tarot: Mysticism, Meditation and Divination for Gay Men, creating both the card images and writing the accompanying book. The Son Tarot is published by Schiffer Books, Autumn 2012.

Chris’s version of the Lenormand Oracle Cards and his accompanying guidebook have also been published by Schiffer Books in December 2013 under the title Lenormand Cartomancy.

In May 2017, the Healing Light Tarot has was published to great acclaim by Lo Scarabeo as a deck and book set. This was followed by the Healing Light Lenormand in April 2019.
